Avoid aural confusion

Words that look different on paper can sound identical when spoken. Homophones like “allowed” and “aloud” can confuse listeners if context isn’t crystal clear. Round off large numbers-say “nearly one and a half million” instead of “1,456,789.” This helps listeners grasp magnitude rather than getting lost in digits.

Always read your script aloud during editing. If you stumble over a phrase while reading, your presenter will definitely stumble during recording. Rewrite until everything flows smoothly off the tongue.
